Amy and Tekno began spending more time together when the threat of Doctor Robotnik no longer hung over Mobius. Having a few minor adventures together (including dealing with Fabian Vane and Norris Wimple) their adventures didn't really begin until they bumped into Johnny Lightfoot one day. With thoughts of old friends on their minds, the crew ventured into Tekno's Workshop to discover the whereabouts of Shortfuse the Cybernik. Tekno's new machine found him, but a problem with the device transported Amy and Tekno to Shorty's location before Johnny could cut the power. The heroes found themselves on an Insectra Empire warship, but were soon involved in both a war against The Blurrgh and a battle with a brainwashed Shortfuse.
