The Boss by YoYoFactory is a signature series yo-yo of Augie Fash, first released in August 2009. The goal of the Boss was to concentrate as much weight on the rims as possible in order to maximize spin time and stability, while maintaining a smaller size. To do this, YoYoFactory took a large-bearing 888, removed the hubstacks (posts and all) and increased the thickness of the outer rims. The Boss is also an inexpensive alternative to the 888, being priced at around $65 USD.
