"Forty" is vernacular for a 40-ounce bottle of malt liquor, which is a stronger type of low-quality beer. Due to their low price and large size, Forties can be found most often in decaying inner-city areas, like Hell's Kitchen and certain Parisian areas. Like all other alcoholic drinks, drinking a forty gives the player a small health boost (2hp) while fogging their HUD with a "drunk" effect.
