The Confrontation in the Republic Executive Building, also known as the Duel in the Chancellor's Suite, and the Showdown on Coruscant, was a lightsaber duel that took place in the Chancellor's Suite of the Republic Executive Building between the Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Sidious, and members of the Jedi Order. First, Sidous dueled Jedi Masters Mace Windu, Kit Fisto, Saesee Tiin, and Agen Kolar, and, afterwards, he faced off against Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, and Masters Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda.
