Gervais Duan Spradlin is an American actor. Originally an attorney and subsequently an oil producer, he became an active actor in 1964. He gained his role as Patrick Geary after a recommendation from producer Fred Roos. Spradlin was a political organizer for Oklahoma's Democratic Party in the 1960s, drawing on that background for his portrayal of Geary.
