His fears about the scout pilots' reports of Earth were dismissed by Captain Togram, who felt that a soldier as experienced as Ilingua should know better than to believe such silly rumors without proof. Ilingua commanded the right flank squad during the battle of UCLA, where the Roxolani found out the initial reports had been correct, to their sorrow.
