Ginerva Jacobs was a witch who possessed her sister and then murdered her sister's son Aaron Jacobs as a sacrifice to become an immortal spirit. 150 years later, she possesses Michele Jacobs and tries to kill her son Alec Aaron Jacobs. Egon and Janine then travel back in time and prevent Ginerva from killing Aaron and then destroy her hat, which then causes her spirit to be destroyed.
