The Sun League consists of the Confederation of Independent Worlds, the Lathan Democracy, the Star Federation, and the Star Republic. The Sun League is primarily a defensive alliance, and have yet to initiate hostilities as a League. The Sun League was formed as a temporary safeguard against being drawn into the ongoing First League War. After the war ended, the members decided to make the League permanent.
