Shadow6543's Higurashi Abridged was first released on September 14th 2009. 5 episodes have been released so far, most of which last about 10 minutes. The abridged has a dark, cynical sense of humor while also including whimsical slap stick in the mix.(though it is called an abridged series its more of a parody/satire) The abridged series is currently on hiatus due to the series not having an editor. * UPDATE* 8/18/11 - The series now has an editor and will continue as planned
