An early part of the main story mission requires the player to fuse an Erthys from a Kodama and a field variant of Hua Po. This allows the player to take advantage of Inugami's weakness. It later appears as one of the four bosses of the Suginami Tunnels gold instance and returns as part of the Suginami Unknown boss rush and the Makai Distortion instance.
