Usage stats on Time stretch

an Entity in Data Space: dbkwik.org

An effect in which the amount of time that a sound takes to play from start to finish is increased or decreased (as if a tape were being sped up or slowed down), but without altering the pitch. Some samplers provide this as an effect that can be applied in non-real-time to a sample, for the purpose of tuning the sample’s length to an exact beat length, or just for the effect. See Variphrase.
