The SS Great Britain was a passenger steamship in service on Earth in the 19th century. It was the first vessel which was both built of iron and equipped with a screw propeller. In 2364, Deanna Troi found an entry for the Great Britain in the USS Enterprise-D computer while searching for information regarding the ship crew with whom she had briefly made telepathic contact.
