Jorge Guerrero Longoria (June 9, 1920 - October 2, 1978) was a Chilean politician, lawyer and political exile, known for his prominent role in the United States as an enemy of the Communist Chilean government. He successfully advocated for American diplomatic protection for the Chilean government-in-exile that resided in New York during the 1970s and 1980s and was infamously murdered at his cousin's home near Los Angeles in October 1978, with the murder allegedly an assassination carried out by the Chilean government. Following his death, the United States formally severed diplomatic ties with Chile.
