This Star Wars Project was a fan project that came about when a group of friends began discussing a possible rewrite of the entire Star Wars canon continuity. What started as one discussion soon took on a life of its own, eventually spawning the project where the members would rewrite Star Wars as they knew it. It was a collaborative project and all were free to join, though before anyone added any new content to be turned into Project Canon it first had to be discussed and approved for the sake of accuracy. Many of the things that were agreed on were that there would be no Yuuzhan Vong, Borg or Star Trek crossovers in general, and superweapons would be minimized.
