Kyle Lawson (born January 11, 1987, in New Hudson, Michigan) is an American defenceman playing for the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League. He played junior hockey for the Tri-City Storm of the United States Hockey League in 2005-06 and then spent four years playing for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The Carolina Hurricanes picked him 198th overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. Lawson played 10 games for the Albany River Rats in 2009-10 after the Notre Dame season was finished.
