Hosc T'Mar was a male Trill Starfleet officer, born in the 24th century. Due to the loss of many Starfleet officers during the Borg Invasion of 2381, T'Mar became captain prematurely. Fellow Captain Regina Farkas and her chief medical officer, Dr. El'nor Sal, considered him young and inexperienced, with Sal stating he would have been someone's executive officer for the next five years if not for the Borg invasion. In 2381, T'mar was the commanding officer of the USS Planck during that vessel's exploration of the Delta Quadrant. (VOY novel: Children of the Storm)
