Fleawirt was a searat member of the Darkqueen under the command of Greypatch. Fleawirt participated in the siege of Redwall Abbey initiated by Greypatch. He was the first to notice that six oarslaves had disappeared when they were rescued by the members of the Long Patrol, Foremole, and the latter's crew. Fleawirt also was the first to see the hares during their last stand. Although he yelled a warning to his mates, he was swiftly slain by Brigadier Thyme.
