The 2007 Subway Fresh Fit 500 was a Nextel Cup (now Sprint Cup) event held at Phoenix International Raceway on April 21, 2007. Jeff Gordon got lucky, staying on the lead lap despite pitting when a caution came out. Gordon then inherited the lead when everyone else pitted and then held off a thrilling charge by Tony Stewart for the victory. It was Gordon's 76th career victory, tying him with Dale Earnhardt.
