Talvania is a gaseous planet in the Bermuda System, visited in Metroid Prime: Federation Force. A factory is present on this planet, as well as a power station causing electromagnetic interference. According to the mission briefing, Talvania was once home to an "advanced machine race", but has since fallen into disrepair due to neglect. As there are no signs of a disastrous event, it is theorized that the race abandoned their home planet for unknown reasons. Enemies include Sentry Missiles, Security Bots and the Generator boss, which may have been inventions of the machine race, left behind by them. The Space Pirates built a base on this planet, underneath an underground gas pocket, as they are unaffected by the gas. The Federation Force destroyed this base by drilling into the ground, and
