Aurora grew up alone and afraid of most people. She was constantly teased in school for having white hair, but she excelled at academics and physical education. She went to a university on Mars and graduated with a Master's Degree. After this, she joined the police force there and was asked by a UNSC recruiter if she wanted to join the military. She did.
