Little is known of Esvan Zahir - probably because he's still rather young to have made much of a mark upon the realm. Born in the year 613 to Olam and Eilenn Zahir, Esvan led a fairly peaceful and unremarkable life for the first fourteen years. His nearest landed kin being at Darkwater Castle, he grew up along the riverbanks and among the riverboats, hunting in the woods along the shores. Displaying a keen mind only when the subject happened to interest him, his education was haphazard at best, and on the whole he seemed more devoted to outdoor pursuits despite the best efforts of his parents - holders only of a few manor houses around Zahir territory - to convince him to learn the devious tricks required to survive adult life in his House.
