A notable variety of skeleton, Giant skeletons generally have significantly higher Combat levels and drop big bones. They have two graphical versions, one with a square shield and sword, and the other with a round shield and axe. These skeletons are found in the Shadow Dungeon. Level 80 giant skeletons can be found in the Shadow Dungeon, which can be accessed using a ring of visibility at a certain point during the Desert Treasure quest. They are similar to the giant skeleton found in Tarn's Lair, but differ in some ways, such as their examine text and their drops.
