The Wood of the Dryads is a vast and ancient forest in Southern Tolnedra, that runs along the banks of the River of Woods and forms a natural border with Nyissa. It is home to the Dryads who have a solemn treaty with the Tolnedran Empire - the woods remain inviolate to all, and a female Princess of the Dryads is wed to a nobleman of the House of Borune, who often becomes Emperor.
