Myles was born during the Seperatist uprising in the Old Republic. A Gurlanin native to the planet of Qiilura, he witnessed first hand the indifference and interference of both the Seperatists and later, the Republic. He volunteered to help with the plan that eventually forced the Republic's hand and resulted in what many viewed as the liberation of Qiilura from foreign influence, although he regretted the lives it cost to do so.
