At the time of the Galactic Civil War, it was covered with the garbage piles of a long-extinct civilization, which attracted scavengers. Because it was beneath the notice of the Galactic Empire, the Rebel starship Thunderstrike put in overnight there shortly after the battle of Xagobah.
