When someone in a tribe sends you an invite, it is an invitation to join that tribe. Invitations may be sent by anyone in the tribe who has that ability, given by the tribe leader. You cannot invite yourself into a tribe, however, you can send a message to the tribe leader asking them to invite you. The total tribe members + invitations may not be more than 100.
