Although he lives in Mineral Town, he will travel to Forget-Me-Not-Valley if he is called to work. He can be called using the telephone in your home, and he will come to your property and build additions to your farm. Gotz also visits the valley every Saturday when he takes the day off, and can be found in the southern part of the valley during the day, and at the Blue Bar at night. He will also attend certain festivals.
