Scott Alan Smith, born November 8, 1961 in New York, is an American actor who plays the role of Dr. Offutt on the HBO original series True Blood. A local emergency room doctor working at the Bon Temps Hospital in Bon Temps, Louisiana, Scott performing an aspiration on Jason Stackhouse, and appears only on the episode "Escape from Dragon House" in the series' first season. __TOC__
