Gourntonk was a lizardfolk and the Empire of Blood's liaison with the bordering nation of Reptilia. He was with Tarquin when Penelope learned of the location of Orrin Draketooth. Gourntonk was present at Tarquin's state dinner in Elan's honor at which he ate the phoenix pâté. The liaison was again with Tarquin at the parade in Elan's honor, and at the gladiatorial games in his honor, seated in Tarquin's box. Ian Starshine was later framed for his murder by Tarquin.
