Polleekin is a protagonist in Martin the Warrior. She is an old mole wife, widowed, who is a Seer and lives a solitary life far North of Marshank. Polleekin is very hospitable, ready to give food to the travellers in her wood. She sees Martin and the travellers walking one day and throws honeyed scones to them. Martin, thinking it must be some supernatural wish-granter, asks if she could give him a flagon of cider, but she jokingly answers that she can't be throwing heavy flagons or someone would be hurt. Grumm recognizes Polleekin as a mole like him. She appears and takes them to her house in the woods. She is a very good host and gives them delicious food.
