Velian Sakaros was a male Sith pureblood from Andaria. The son of Nagarian and Velia Sakaros, Velian was given the masculine form of his mother's name. He and his younger brother Tak were sent to private school in their home city, Cresyl. Nagarian trained his sons in the ancient Sith martial art Var Shek, though all of the Sakaroses were ignorant of their greater heritage. In later years, Tak was reluctant to even mention that he had had a brother, although Khrado Ragnos knew it and forced Tak to dwell on the memories in order to increase his power in the dark side.
