Signalman Third Class Harold Lewis was the radio operator on the USS Hickory when it was hit by Hurricane Susan. He happened to be working the radio when the storm hit and had suffered minor injuries. He spoke with President Jed Bartlet as the storm hit the ship. It was revealed in Two Cathedrals that the ship and its crew was lost during the storm.
