Johannes I (Johannes Petrus Wilhelmus Heynrick van Zuyden tot Banstill) was an Emperor of Vanuku. He ascended the throne in 3297 after the passing of a referendum about restoring the monarchy in Vanuku. He was the son of the son of duke Johannes XIV van Zuyden tot Banstill and the first Emperor to rule Vanuku in almost 1500 years after the collapse of the Imperial Confederacy. His son Prince Willem, was the crown prince until he was killed in a terrorist attack. His other son Prince Laurens then ascended the throne as Laurens IV when Johannes I died in 3317.
