A painting of a wolfhound was hung at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, near Sir Cadogan's portrait. In 1995, when Harry Potter was on his way to Divination class, Sir Cadogan tried to follow him by running through a neighbouring picture. However, the large and angry-looking dog inhabiting the painting chased him back into his own portrait.
