Richard Standing (born 1969 in West Yorkshire) appeared on Coronation Street between April 1999 and April 2001 as Danny Hargreaves, market trader and fiancé of Sally Webster. His on-screen credits include roles in Families, Harry, The Grand, Picking up the Pieces, Casualty, Doctors, The Bill, Silent Witness, Grange Hill and Holby City Having performed extensively for theatre company Northern Broadsides, he has appeared in productions including The School for Scandal, A Woman Killed with Kindness, Othello, Canterbury Tales, Mamma Mia!, Rutherford & Son and King Lear.
