The "Ballad of the Goddess" (女神の詩 Megami no Uta?, Song of the Goddess) is a song from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. In the beginning of the game, it is sung by Zelda when Link visits her at the Statue of the Goddess. Later, Link learns the "Ballad of the Goddess" from the Old Woman. After learning the song's lyrics from Gaepora, Link is able to use the song to create a pathway into the Thunderhead. When played backwards, parts of the "Ballad of the Goddess" sound the same as the main motif of "Zelda's Lullaby", albeit in reverse (i.e., the low note plays before the high note). It is the main theme of Skyward Sword, and it has been remixed in a few of the background songs during the events of the game.
