The Fishing Village Line is Arthur's branchline. When the branchline was opened, The Fat Controller firstly put Thomas in charge. But, when Thomas had an accident, Arthur was able to ask the Fat Controller if he could run the branchline as he really likes fish. The Fat Controller agreed to this, so Arthur has his own branchline. It is the branch line along the coast from Brendam running down to Kirk Ronan.
