Prior to his visit to Ghost World, Shion destroyed his sword by lighting it on fire to destroy a dinosaur ghost. Later, he and Wordsmith visited Tom's Trading Post and Supply Emporium on the edge of Dinotown and took a number of spell boxes and potions from the owner.
