After Breaking, often abbreviated AB for historical purposes, was a period of time following the Breaking of the World which lasted for roughly 1,350 years. During this time, man rebuilt its civilization which had been destroyed by male Aes Sedai who had gone mad. Due to the events leading up to the Breaking of the World, trust was always in short supply, the Ten Nations that controlled the majority of the Westlands emerged from the Breaking.
