The Fireweed is the head of the Testing and Application Division in the Department of Sufficiently Advanced Technology. It may also be known as the Rosebay Willowherb, especially by those agents from Britain, though due to its area of command, most people tend to think of it by the former name. While its gender is unclear, and as a Flower it may well not have one, its subordinates tend to refer to it as a "he." The Fireweed is unusual among the Flowers in that it is considerably less afraid of fire and its effects, which may have resulted in it getting its current assignment.
