Throughout the duration of the first part of the event event, players may interact with the Devotion Sprites and pacify them (using Hunter or Herblore techniques) for experience and reputation points for the event, consuming five devotion dust per action. A total of 16 sprites could be found around the crater. They could be interacted for either Hunter or Herblore experience, or one of these could be selected directly by right-clicking the sprites. An action was performed automatically every 3.6 seconds. At level 99 Hunter and Herblore, one action yielded 140.8 Hunter or 74.1 Herblore experience.
