The Chaste was a mystical martial arts enclave founded by Izo. They lived apart from society in a remote wilderness location that could only be accessed by climbing "The Wall", a sheer cliff too high for the average human being. The climb also served as an entrance exam. The Chaste's mission was to combat The Hand, a clan of ninjas.
