Don and Vince were the two musicians/builders who started work constructing a smoking shelter for Vernon Tomlin and Liz McDonald in the back yard of the Rovers in March 2008, after Vernon found a quote from Bill Webster too expensive. Liz was angry when they did more slacking than working and also received complaints from Blanche Hunt. Don and Vince abandoned the project halfway through when they got an offer of a gig on a cruise ship and the job was completed through a contact of Harry Mason.
