Badeff has CONTROL agent and violin virtuoso Rudolph Hubert killed before he can reveal Badeff's identity and attempts to do the same to pianist Wolenska by planting a bomb in his piano to prevent him from performing the symphony in which Hubert has hidden the information. He is thwarted when Maxwell Smart discovers and disarms the bomb and, with the help of Agent 99, captures Badeff and his associates.
