The First Moscow Conference of World War II took place from September 29, 1941 to October 1, 1941. Averell Harriman representing the United States of America and Lord Beaverbrook representing the United Kingdom met with Joseph Stalin of the Soviet Union to give assurances that those two leading Allies of World War II would aid and support the Soviet Union in the common fight against Nazi Germany.
