"Matoya's Cave" is used as the background theme for its eponymous location and various caverns of the game, including Mount Duergar, the Sage's Cave, the Cavern of Ice, the Dragon Caves, and the Waterfall Cavern. It is the seventh track of the All Sounds of Final Fantasy I & II album. "Matoya's Cave" was arranged by Nobuo Uematsu for the Wonderswan Color release, and this version has been used in all subsequent ports and remakes. It is the seventeenth track of the original soundtrack.
