The spell Guided Fireball is identical to the spell Fireball, except that by concentrating on the intended target, the fireball can be impelled to chance course in flight to follow a moving target, or maneuver around obstacles. By focusing on the target itself, the fireball will be impelled to move towards it, ignoring any obstacles and hence potentially running into them, but it is possible to fine-tune the fireball's "steering", causing it to move any direction through force of will, even slowing down beneath its ordinary speed level to ease steering.
