Tonsillitis is cause by the bacteria Streptococcus pyogenes or any other bacteria in the genus Streptococcus. Tonsillitis is the Inflammation of the Tonsils and/or Pharynx. The Infectivity is so low that it's considerd as non-transmittable disease.
