Matron Featherhorn was a shryke from the Eastern Roost during the events of Freeglader. After the shryke armies were killed by the Rock-Demons in Undertown, Matron Featherhorn oversaw a mass hatching of new shryke sisters and a Roost-Mother. However, the newly hatched shrykes were all killed in the Battle of Lufwood Mount, thus ending the era in which shrykes held massive power in the Edge.
