The SSS Esperanto was a designated "ocean seeding" Space Corps starship. Her crew were killed on its initial three-year mission. The seeding ship was left derelict; submerged under the shallow surface and at the bottom of an unnamed ocean-covered planetoid in Deep Space, for three million years. The SSS Esperanto was discovered by the boys from the Dwarf in the episode "Back to Reality", the last episode of Series V.
